James Wyatt F.R.I.C.S.
Director of Parthenia Valuation
James began as an agent in 1994 and trained to be a surveyor at Knight Frank. He was Head of
Valuation at John D Wood & Co. and after 11 years left and set up Parthenia. Parthenia Research was
created with Dr Bracke, who is now at the Bank of England, and together with Dr Pinchbeck (London
School of Economics) investigated the empirical evidence to determine a true relativity untainted by
the Act and the existing graphs. Working with Professor Gibbons he created the first submarket
indices using pounds per square feet, which were shown to be more accurate than existing agents’
indices based upon opinion. James has degrees in economics and his Master’s thesis examined the
long run performance of equities, bonds, bills and property since 1900. He holds the Investment
Management Certificate and is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
