Tom Jefferies is an experienced property litigator and a specialist in leasehold enfranchisement. He won the Barrister of the Year award at the Enfranchisement and Right to Manage Awards 2015. He has acted in a number of prominent cases, including Sportelli, Regent Wealth v Wiggins, and a series of cases concerning development value including 2 Herbert Crescent, Themeline v Vowden and Cravecrest v Duke of Westminster. Most recently he appeared for the successful tenant in Jewelcraft Ltd v Pressland, in which the Court of Appeal confirmed that a shop with flat above is a house, regardless of configuration and appearance. He enjoys both legal and valuation issues, and takes pride in saving or making money for clients by identifying and maximising the benefit of valuation arguments.
